Max: you were sick all week and are still a little iffy. Of course, you passed it to your dad who also threw up. Everyone can guess who handled it with more grace …
You were a bit cooped up in the cold weather so we got you out and took you to the transit museum, in an old subway station in Brooklyn. The highlight for you? Being able to turn the wheel of a city bus. Who do you think liked the museum better, you or your dad?
MAX – It looks like you had a big time at the transit museum. I especially like your tennis shoes. You’re getting to be such a big boy are are sooo cute!
What a perfect venue for you, Max. Mom and Dad are very clever.
Max: you had a very full weekend with lots of guests and lots of fun. Maybe that is one reason why you threw up all over Jean tonight? Don’t know …
You did a whole lot of drumming with your new drum set from Lexi and Grant
You read stories
You pushed monkey around …
You went out to breakfast with Dad, mom, Aunt Amy and Susan
You played the piano
You and your great aunt built things
You braved the cold.
You were characteristically silly
You and Scarlett hit the road
You hugged and kissed Scarlett quite a lot
You and Alison hit the deck
You drummed some more
You and your dad went for a spin
That was quite a lot, huh?
Maxi: If I lived thru that weekend, I’d throw up too! You’re burning the candle at both ends, kid; and you’re not yet two. I’m dizzy from looking.
So cute to see you walking hand-in-hand.
MAX – You wore me out just looking at your great weekend photos – what a busy guy you were – looks like you’re getting ready to start your own band!
I have to post just this one from today. Max: you are such a happy child, it really amazes us. Hope you always stay this way (if you want to : )).
This photo is priceless! MAX – you’re a very happy little guy for sure!
MAX – How lucky your Auntie is to be able to drop by to play with you. You’re such a happy little guy and you love that balloon and fire truck. Your cord pants are right in style. Good job!
I don’t know who this raucous woman is, inciting my grandson to odd behavior; but I don’t want her to play with my fire truck!
Your Auntie Nancy brings out the sweetest in you…seems like everyone makes you happpy. Sweetest boy.
Max, you delicious giggly bunny, I sure hope I’m safely uptown when that old balloon pops!!

MAX – what fun you are having at Chelsea piers! I can’t decide who is having more fun- you or your Daddy. It looks like the turn-up cuffs on the legs of your pants is getting shorter which indicates you must be getting taller! Best of all is your great smile!
If this isn’t the cutest little gymnast around . . . . Nadia Comaneci has nothing on Max Blumenthal.
