Max: your dad decided that since you have such a great love of music, you should have your own keyboard.
While I was at B&H looking at high tripods, your dad was in the keyboard section, looking for something for you. He decided at $50 we could afford to have it not last too long. You’ve decided it’s especially fun to make music with your feet.
On most days, your dad plays a vigorous game of hide and seek with Zulu. Since you were a tiny baby, you have found this fascinating. Now you insist on being part of the action.
Your dad throws the stuffed alligator, you both hide, and then you come screaming and laughing out of your hiding place when Zulu finds you (in this case, you were hiding in your room).
You’ve also decided it’s really fun to play in our bathtub. Your dad humors you.

MAX – Continue playing your keyboard and I’ll come see you in concert at Carnegie Hall. You are really getting to be a character – funny, loving and always my adorable grandson with an exceptional personality. I love you!
Well, Msx, your music will always be unique because of your 20-digit technique.
I would love to be there when you finally figure out how to turn on the water in that bathtub with dad trying to sleep in there.
And mom, I loved the photos on the bridge of Auntie Lexi and Uncle Grant; I guess we will all have to imagine the scene.
I’m not sure ho’s laughing harder, you or your dad. He knows the best hiding places. The bathtub is a new one on me. Bet Zulu hasn’t thought to look for you there.
